Staff profile - Anil Ramineni:
I am a Registered and Chartered Physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience.
My journey in the healthcare industry started in 1999, when I worked in an acute hospital (tertiary centre) for 6 years, specialising in Respiratory and Musculoskeletal areas. In 2006, I further enriched my knowledge with a Post-graduation from Sheffield Hallam University, solidifying my expertise in these fields.
My area of interest is in Musculoskeletal and Respiratory areas. Please see below for further information about my qualifications, professional memberships and scope of practice.
Qualifications:
- Masters in Physiotherapy and Musculoskeletal module from Sheffield Hallam University, U.K, in 2006
- Supplementary Prescribing from Sheffield Hallam University, U.K
- Independent Prescribing from Coventry University, U.K
- PG cert in Advanced management of Respiratory complications of Neuromuscular diseases at Keele University, U.K

Scope of practice:
Conditions treated range from osteoarthritis, shoulder impingement, sports injuries, chronic pain, joint sprains and neck and back pain. We also take GP and orthopaedic consultant referrals for post-operative rehabilitation.
Management of respiratory symptoms in:- COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
- Bronchiectasis
- Interstitial Lung disease including Pulmonary Fibrosis
- Managing respiratory issues in neuromuscular diseases such as Motor neuron disease, spinal cord injuries/deformities, Multiple Sclerosis
