Anil has visited my husband Pete 4 times and we have found him to be interested in benefiting him by giving specialised advice...

regarding anxiety due to breathlessness, exercises to help his lung function, testing his oxygen levels, his blood pressure and looking at the whole picture regarding his condition.

He has contact with the oxygen team and the heart nurses and our GP so that they are informed about any advice given. We have found him to be great help and can contact him if we need him to visit my husband again at home.

I feel I have someone to contact if I have any worries or questions about my husband’s condition and would recommend him to anyone needing specialised respiratory treatment.

I first met Anil when I became a patient of the Respiratory Team some years ago and can say nothing but good of him...

Anil is fully dedicated to his work. He is kind, empathetic, hard working and has a great understanding of respiratory illness. When he has an appointment with a patient he telephones beforehand confirming the time and place he will be there.

If you are lucky enough to become one of his patients you will find yourself with someone with a very rare knowledge of the many difficulties which respiratory patients encounter, many of which are totally disregarded. Not so Anil. He seems to be able to get into our bodies in an incredible way.

I just can’t thank him enough for all his help. If this is the first time you have heard of him then I assure you that this is a very good day for you. I wish you well.

I suffer from Bronchiectasis condition and been struggling with cough, ongoing breathlessness...

and chest infections. Following a recommendation by my nurse I saw Anil in his clinic with my husband.

All the advice he was given is amazing. He has shown how to use inhalers correctly and being affected by arthritis I was struggling to use my inhaler properly. Anil suggested about using haleraid and since then I can use my inhaler easily.

Also, he gave me flutter device to help with cough which I use it 3 times daily. I am now coughing up rarely, my breathing has improved, and able to sleep through the night without waking up frequently due to cough.
